BRAZIL

BR-01--Mostly used collection on homemade pages, several 100s, including * 82 and used 7, 73, 74, 78, 84, 94, 127, 138, 150A, 172-3 and much more, Cat $625.95++, net is just $150.

BR-02--M/U collection on scott specialty pages 1843-1966, includes M162-5, U--61,62,63,73,74,77,124, 126-7, virtually complete from 1940-1966, total cat is $1112.55, Net is only $330.

BR-03--1843-1969, complete Scott specialty pages for period, No classics in this lot, stamps start with #116, and include M 162-5, 190, 191, 193-4, 394-7, 494-6, 651, B5-7, B8-11, C32-6 and C55-9, used 172-3 and mixed  387-90.  Total cat is  $686.20, Net $150.

BR-04--Hundreds of Maier catalog listed varieties, most are fly specks, but others are double impressions, overprint  and perf varieties.  Virtually every item is listed with the RHM catalog number.  Noted 272 with blue color apparently missing (RHM-18a).  A great lot for the specialist, $250.

BR-05--100-200 stamps on homemade pages, mostly used, nice group that includes 68, J5 P22 and unused P22a, plus some revenues, not counted.  Well worth $10.

BR-06--Two and 1/2 stock pages with MNH stamps, all commems, nice lot $25.

BR-73-07--1983-2015 Virtually all NH collection of many 100s on stock pages (with a few airmails going back to the 1940s).  About half a dozen glassines with additional material not counted.  Includes M 1841-4, 1857-60, 2413a, 2556 x2, 2583-5, 2586-9, 2602, 3141, 2171, 3218, 3237 x2, 3239, 3256, C78-9.  Total cat is $1115.85, priced to sell at just $300.

BR-08--1843-1948 mint/used collection on Scott Specialty pages, better include mint 7, 190, 260-2, 398-401, 414-7, 667, 668, 669; used 2 (early impression), 8, 10, 22, 28, 37-8, 39, 93-5, 96-8, 112-24, 126, 127, 135, 172-3, 254, 293, 350, 393, 498, O1-13; mixed 162-5.  Cat is $2661.50, net $600.

BR-11--M/U exceptionally clean classic collection 1844-1900 on Vintage Reproduction pages. Includes M-22,38, 162-5, J9, P20 and U--7-9, 23-28, 37, 39-40, 46, 60, 71, 126-127, 138, P15 and 37 cut squares.  Cat is $2085, net is just $495.

BR-12--Nice starter lot, $20

BR-13--Album page with 20 copies of 96 with interesting cancels including Corralina, grato, Alagoas, Amazonas, Barra and a crossed Amb. Cach... cancel, well worth our asking price of $40.

BR-14--Nice clean mostly used collection (1850-1900, Scott 23-161) on sales pages including 37, 60, 64, 77, 82 and much more.  Total cat is $422.15, net is only $125.

BR-15--Mostly used collection (1905-1938, Scott 166-465a) on sales pages, with virtually no duplicatin, includes 166, 173, 174-88, 229, 355.  Cat is $159.20 for only $45.

BR-16--1898-1927 a very clean collection of mostly used on homemade pages.  Starts with the 1898 overprints (127//158) including 127 used.  Also has a strong BOB section including Js, Os and Ps and some revenues.  Cat is $431.35, well worth our asking price of $129.

BR-17--Scott 8-107 mint and used.  Nice clean group includes used 8, 8 with double impression, 9, 28, 60, 74, 98.  Cat is $1343.25, net is $335.

BR-18--A nice M/U collection on vintage reproduction pages, 1843-1940.  Better include * 465, 466, B1-4, B5-7; mixed 342-44; used 7, 8, 26, 27, 28, 46, 62, 64, 67, 77, 78, 80, 81, 172-3, 392-4, 455-6, 496-8, P19-2...plus many not counted including, 9, 10, 94, 97, 98.  Cat is $1920.15.  A great starter collection for a great country, only $575 net.

BR-19--33 different NH marblized paper stamps.  These stamps bring a premium in the Brazilian catalog of from 11x to 416x the regular stamp price.  The total equivalent Scott value would be $1001.10, net is only $400.

BR-20--1843-1980s Better Brazil sets and singles on stock pages.  Include M--162-5, 465, 466, 496-8 in gutter pairs, 612, 1060a, 1062a, 1147, 1242-6, 1239-41, 1270-1, 1301, 1308, 1315-9, 1351 and used 2 (SCV $300), 26, 28, 39, 40, 60, 73, 78, 162-5, 173, 198 and much, much more. Cat is $2252.05, net is $575.

BR-21--Over 100 different mint, mostly 1950s-1960s commems and several used classics including 25.  Cat in 2007 was over $100, net is only $25.

BR-22--Several hundred mostly commems from 1922-1965 (a few later) on album pages, m/u.  Great variety here that will fill in many ablum holes.  Better items include M 394-7,643-9,B5-7,C55-9 and U 350. Many items price in the $1 to $10 range. Total cat $460.85, only $100.

BR-23 482 mostly different stamps on stock pages, good variety. Virtually everything is from about 1890-1970.  Net $30.

BR-24--TELEPHONE CARDS, about 120 differernt, all on vario pages, very attractive topicals (birds, orchids, animals, trains, etc...) plus a few others from Bolivia, Chile & Mexico.  Original Retail was $135, now just $70.

BR-25--Souvenir Sheets, 1938-1992, all different, virtually all NH, including 465, 466, 612, 985a, 995a,1027a,1060a, 1070a, 1130, 1147, 1179, 1181, 1222, 1247, C76a, C86a and others.  Total cat is $548.50, net is just $175.

BR-26--1132 stamps on 5 cram-filled stock pages, with stamps from nearly all periods of Brazilian philately.  Many will be common, there is some duplication but there is also amazing variety, including lots of commemoratives starting in the 1930s through the 2000s--both mint and used.  There are also so odd revenues.  Nothing has been watermarked, so there is the possibility of  some finds.  This can be yours for the low price of just about 4c per stamp.  $40 net

BR-27--P22-25 specialized collection with many perf, paper and minor flyspecking varieties identified.  A few faults here and there and a number of the stamps are affected by toning, but this is a great start to an exhibit and the price is definitely right.  Cat is $1711.75, net is $170.

BR-28--A specialized collection on collector made pages from about 1889-1945, with the strength in the earlier material.  Starting with the Southern Cross issue, there is a nice run of these with virtually every stamp showing a different color variety or shade.  The 1894-7 issue follows with many paper types and other specialized types identified.  There are a good number of the 1898 overprints and a good number of the 1906-16 definitive issue with color shades and multiples.  Other better items include mint 190, 191 and used 107, 107a, 124, 126, 137, 139, 162-5, P7 and P25.  There are also two pages of different sets of Deposito revenues (both from 1000 to 200,000 reis and a page of cut squares.  Total cat is $961.55, net is $225.

BR-74-29--1846-1860--M/U collection (mostly used) with some nice material throughout.  None of the stamps have been watermarked, so there could be finds among the industry definitives and the other stamps with better watermarks.  Collection includes M 27, 61, 82, C17-21 (could be C32-6), C27 and O22.  Used include 21, 25, 38, 62, 64, 92-4, 98 (Cat $110), 124, 138, 172-3 and 214.  Mixed sets include 342-55 and 446-9.  Cat is $954.34, net is only $195.

BR-75-30--1844-1900--Classic stock on Vario pages m/u.  Includes mint 23, 24 (x4), 37, 53 (x5), 54, 56, 57 (x2)58 (x2), 59, 60, 68 (x2), 69 (x2), 70, 75, 94 and used 10, 25(x2), 26 (x2), 37 (x3), 39, 59, 609x2) 67, 73 (x6), 74 (x3), 77 (x2), 78 (x4), 95, 98 (x2) and much more.  Great for shade, cancels, etc... and the price is right...Includes a page of material not counted. Cat is $2762.90, net is less than 10% SCV, just $275.

BR-71-31--Many hundreds of M/U on Scott specialty pages that run from 1843=1977.  The stamps start at #100 (1890) and run until 1973.  The best item is C1-16 unused, but this collection also has the following better items: M 113, 612, 786-801, 1147, 1181, 1301, C1-16, C55-9, C76a, C86A and used 124 and O1-13.  Total cat is $1146.90, net is just $225.

BR-74-32--1976-1993--All, M NH collection on vario pages, with some moderate duplication (never more than two of any stamp or SS).  Most are from 1988-1993, with just a smattering of other years.  Very attractive topicals at an even more attractive price, as I am over stocked on these.  Includes 2158, 2164 and 2258b (x2).  Cat $297.35, net is $60.

BR-69-33--1890-1981--M/U collection (several 100s) with a total cat of 625.40, with some not counted.  A good buy for $150.

BR-74-34--1983-1990--M, NH stockbook probably complete for the period of singles, sets and SS.  Usually 1-2 of each, with occasionally up to 5 copies.  two small additional stock books with material from other periods, one NH, the other used.  Includes 1853-60, 1871-4 (1874 x2), 1886 (x2) and 2285b.  Cat is $728.60.  Priced to move at $140.

BR-35--1940s-1990s collection of180+ different commemoratives and 70 different definitives on vario stockpages, virtually all used.  Many duplicates present that were not counted.  Most are from 1950-1969 witha few later/earlier.  Nice group, well worth $20.

BR-74-36--1846-1992  Will filled collection, both m/u (mostly mint).  Nothing watermarked, stamps counted as the cheapest, so there may be a discovery.  Better include M 190, 380-3, 387-90, 414-7, 1262-6, 1267, 1268-71, 1315-9, 1322-5, 1344-8, 1376-8, 1383-9, 1857-60, B5-7, C50-2, C55-9, and used 60, 67, 78, 1190a, 1242-5, P15.  Cat is $2162.75 plus some not counted,  a great buy at less than 20% of Scott,  net $425.

BR-74-37--1991 Year set, complete 2297-2346, RA27, all stamps and SS.  Cat is $71.75, net is just $25.

BR-74-38--1992 Year set, complete, Scott 2347-97, RA28, all stamps and SS in attractive post office issued booklet.  Cat is 90.55, net is $30.

BR-74-39--1993 Year set, complete, Scott 2398-2438, RA29, all stamps and SS plus two Frama labels in attractive post office issued booklet.  Cat is 99.25, net is $40.

BR-74-40--1994 Year set, complete, Scott 2439-2524, RA30, all stamps and SS plus one Frama label  in attractive post office issued booklet.  Cat is 136.05, net is $55.

BR-74-41--1995 Year set, complete, Scott 2525-69, all stamps and SS.  Cat is $118.65, net is $50.

BR-74-42--Oddball M/U collection (mostly used) with some pleasant surprises.  Includes * 612, some very nice Newspaper stamps (including used P3), ans some semi official airmails (including used 3CL24).  Some of the commemoratives cat up to $2.25.  Duplicates are not counted, so they are a gift.  Cat is $108.35, net is just $20.

BR-43--Accumulation of many hundreds (mostly used, but some mint) of the two industry and agriculture definitive series (1920-1947).  We didn't check anything for watermarks, it is just as we received it.  There are also a number of stamps from earlier and later defintive sets, again nothing checked for watermarks.  Hopefully, there will be some good finds here--a fun treasure hunt.  Should be well worth $50

BR-45--Revenues--55 different on a stock page with some duplication, so well over 100 in all.  Mostly common, but a great bargain at just 15c each.  Net is $15.

BR-B-01  Highly specialized classic collection of Brazil Scott 7/78 on homemade pages with annotations in French.  Mostly used with a few mint.  Includes identified paper varieties, different printings, cancellations, pairs and multiples.  Great collection for the specialist.  Cat is in excess of $16,000, net $4500.

BR-B-02--Minkus album with pages through 1968, mostly mint, some lightly stuck, Cat is $1915, Net, $400

BR-B-03--Virtually all NH collection on Vario pages, stamps through the year 2000.  Many better including 1027a, 1031a, 1048a,1147, 1301,1242-6,1234-8, 2515, 22540, 2338,2355B, 2583-5, 2602, 2655-9a, 2689, 2722, 2702a, B12, C86A and B5-7, cat is $1145.50, $350 NET

BR-B-04--Mostly used collection in a Scott specialty binder, pages go from Scott 1 (1843 ) to 1969.  Many hundreds of mostly commemoratives from the 1940s through 1960s.  Nothing rare but a great collection to build on.  Better include M 527, 651 and U528, B8-11.  Priced to move, SCV is $373.65, net only $90.

BR-B-05--Highly complete collection in a Minkus specialty album.  Virtually all the classics up to 1918 are used, then there is a mix of used/mint until 1940 and virtually everything through 1981 is mint.  It startts with a nice run of goats eyes (7-40), then has all the Dom Pedros from 53-67 except 76.  Then there is a nearly complete run from 1930-1970.  All of the watermarks have been checked--some items will need to be moved to their correct space, but the hard watermarking work is already done.  This is a fantastic collection on which to build, total cat is $4047.65, net is just $1200

BR-B-74-06--1900-1982--A virtually all NH collection of Brazilian Commemoratives (stamps and SS) housed in a pristine FIRT Brazilian high quality album (made in Sao Paolo, Brazil).  There are a few scattered stamps from 1900-1945 and then virtually complete after that.  Lots of highlights including 721-3, 734-8, 985a, 995a, 1027a, 1047a, 1048a, 1060a, 1062a, 1070a, 1125-8, 1130, 1145, 1147, 1150-4, 1166-9. 1176-8, 1179, 1185-6, 1210-3, 1218-21, 1223-5, 1230-2, 1239-41, 1268-71, 1328-31, 1299c, 1301, 1308, 1315-9, 1322-5, 1332-6, 1344-8, 1351. 1367-9. 1376-8. 1786-9, 1792, 1820-22A, C86A.  Cat is $1997.40, our net is just $595.

BR-B-07--1843-2012, with pages 1843-2010--A very clean and nicely mounted collection in four 3-ring binders.  I don't know the manufacturer of the binder, but the album pages are nice quality with explanations in English underneath.  Virtually complete from the 1930s through 1990s, and good items abound before/after those dates.  The watermarking of definitives is suspect, but all better items were checked for accuracy.  Total 2020 cat (which is much lower than previous years) is $3029.35 and our asking price is just $900.  An excellent buy.

BR-B-08--1844-1999 mostly mint and NH collection on vario pages, some duplication but manageable, much useful material including M 22, 392-3, 527, 533-4 (NH), 1062a, 1181, 1332-6, 1672, C17-21 and used 60, 73, 74, 84, 138, 198.  Cat is $996.20, net is just $200.

BR-B-09--ABNCo. Archive specimens, as assembled and sold by Kasimir Bileski in the original binder.  This has 206 specimens showing all of the orders and reorders by the Brazilian post office of the issues of 1906-1916 (Scott 174-88). His original asking price was $900.  Ours is a fraction of this price for just about $1/stamp  $200 net.

BR-B-75-10--1960-1989--Virtually all used collection, just a few stamps and most of the SS are unused--great coverage for the period .  Several 100s, with many stamps in the $1-10 range.  A few of the better include M 985a, 995a, 1047a, 1048a, 1062a, 1070a, 1145, 1147, 1247, 2053 and used 1190a, 1242-6, 1271, 1351 (stamp from SS). Also includes a page of 14 all different cut squares (not counted).  Total cat is $660.20, yours for less than 20% SCV for just $130.

BR-B-75-11--1847-1959 mostly used collection in a homemade binder.  Lots of premium items such as mint 126, 162-5, 372, 465, 466, 612, C76a, C86A, P16, P19, P24-5; used 7, 8, 9, 10, 21-8, 37-8, 40, 53-60, 61-7, 68-77, 78, 79, 80, 82-5, 86-91, 93-5, 96-8, 107, 112-24, 127, 129, 135, 137, 138, 151-8, 171A, 172-3, 200-6, 216, 268, 293-7, 446-9, 455-6, 496-8, c28, C29, J10-3, P17, misted 342-55.  Total cat is $4024.60, net is less than 20% SVC--$800 net.

BR-B-12--Mostly Brazil, but also nice groupings of Chile and Colombia, all neatly arranged in a stock book.  Material runs from classic to the 1960s, with the strongest being the classic era.  On the first page, I noted * 22, 53, 54, 69, and used 59, 60, 61,62,71, 74, which is already more than the asking price.  Thousands of stamps, none checked for watermarks or perfs--including many from the long Industrias definitives, so there may be finds.  We also noted some VARIG airmail stamps.  In the Colombia, a good number of elusive Colombian States are noted.  Priced very low at $275

BR-BX-01--Just before the advent of cell phones, telephone cards were all the rage.  The Brazilian national telephone company. TELEBRAS, issued dozens of designs of attractive topicals--birds, fish, military aircraft, orchids, etc...I have a small box of 416 cards with up to 4 of each.  In addition, there are 23 cards from other countries (USA, Bolivia, Peru, etc...), net is only $195.

BR-BX-02--A good sized box of Brazil--singles, sets, SS mint and used, and more.  We note sheets and part sheets of issues, many used industry definitives all unsearched for watermark varieties and around 30 SS of C86a.  We also note unused 26, 68, 70  and 131 and used 60, 126 and 135.  Well worth our asking price of just $125.

BR-E-01--Schaubek hingeless pages from 2000-2008, almost new, no stamps, for   a fraction of the supplement cost, $30.
