June 1853 VENI FRANCA straight line in red entire letter from Trinidad to Cochabamba. This must be a very scarce marking as even in the 1990s when I was there, Trinidad was a very small town of maybe 25,000. In 1853, only a few dozen families probably lived there. Unfortunately, a post-t was applied to the cover and "Trinitdad Jun1853 Complete Letter in purple lightly transfered onto the cover. Still a wonderful and scarce item $95. SCAN

48 and 51 on a lovely January 1899 cover from Potosi to New Jersey, both stamps tied by fancy Potosi shell ccl. Bask shows Antofogasta 1/17/99 transit; a 2/20/99 NYC transit and a 2/21/99 Dover, NJ receiving cancel. A very attractive and unusual cover. $60 SCAN
49 x8 on an oversized Official cover from the Ministry of Public Education to a Bolivian diplomat in Buenos Aires, back has smudgy Buenos Aires November 14?, 1897 receiving ccl and ministry handstamp, very unusual $200 SCAN
51x2 on a 3/5/98 cover from Urriolagoitia (Departamento de Sucre) to Manchester, England. Reverse has Buenos Aires 3/20/98 transit and Manchester 4/15/98 receiving ccl. A scarce marking from a small town on a double weight envelope with stamps rarely seen on cover $100 SCAN
Cefilco Revenue #8 (Scott type A43 w/o opt) postally used with indistinct cork ccl to La Paz. Probable 1892 usage authorized by postal decree. A little rough, but a very unusual item, $100 PHOTO

Condor Syndicate First Flight between Bolivia and Brazil, lovely cover franked with C8-10 and C27-34 plus 196. Cancelled with 7/30/30 CDS and has a Condor Syndicate cachet in black on the front as well as a Lloyd Aereo Boliviano etiquette in the colors of the Bolivian flag. The back has mutliple 8/1/30 Rio de Janeiro receiving cancels. Flap is missing on the back, but still a real showpiece for any first flight collection, $175. SCAN
286 quadrisect on 8/15/44 domestic airmail cover from Santa Cruz to Cochabamba. The bisect of the 4 Bs stamp pays the 1 Bs. rate. Missing flap, but has 8/16/44 Cochabamba receving mark on reverse. Scarce item. $20 SCAN
